We are excited to once again offer Fall Tours which have become a treasured tradition for scores of Livermore school children. We host preschoolers to 3rd graders for a tour around the Nursery celebrating the glorious fall season.
Tours will be available October 15, 16 & 17, October 22, 23 & 24 and October 29 & 30 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Our goal is to share the wonder of the fall season, the garden and have some fall fun!
Each tour includes:
- Personal guide from Alden Lane Nursery
- Learn all about pollinators
- Plant a sweet pea
- Visit our chickens
- Native Bird Organization will be here with a live Owl (pending availability)
- A romp through the Pumpkin Patch
- Pumpkin Fishing
- Goody Bag and Pumpkin for each child
Our tours start every half hour and run for an hour. We have a snack/lunch area available for use before or after your tour. The cost of our one-hour tour is $10 per child. Minimum number for a tour is 15, max is 25 (does not include parent chaperones). There is $150 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space. This deposit will be put towards the cost of your tour.

If you are interested in scheduling a Fall School Tour, please provide your name, school name, number of tours you are looking to schedule (minimum 15 students, maximum 25 students per class) and your contact information (phone & e-mail).
