Our Quilt Lineup for Quilting in the Garden 2019 is full. Thanks to all who responded to our request to share your quilting masterpieces with the public! We have reached capacity for this year’s show.
Definition of a quilt for this show
A quilt is two layers of fabric with a filling that is stitched together with lines or a pattern. Quilting must stitched by hand or machine. Tied quilts do not meet the definition of a quilt for this show. “Raggy” quilts and quilts made from predominately pre-printed panels will not be accepted for this show.
Size: Quilts must be at least 36”x 36” and may not exceed 104” in width or length. Stuffed animals, pillowcases, etc. cannot be accepted with any quilt. Shapes other than squares or rectangles are discouraged and may not be displayed due to difficulty in hanging.
Limitations: Each exhibitor may enter up to 4 quilts; amounts will be determined by the size of entries and show space. Only one-half of your entries may be for sale.
Photography: Quilts may be photographed by show attendees and the media, but may not be used for commercial purposes. Submission of a quilt to Quilting in the Garden constitutes permission by the quilter/owner to allow it to be photographed.
Insurance: In the very unlikely event that a quilt is damaged or lost, Alden Lane Nursery’s Quilting in the Garden cannot be held responsible. Insurance is the responsibility of the quilter/owner. It is recommended that quilts be included on the individual’s homeowner policy.
