Spring Daffodil Show.
Every March, (except this March,) Alden Lane has played Host to the Northern California Daffodil Show sponsored by the Northern California Daffodil Society. This year the annual Daffodil show will be held at Ironstone Winery in Murphys California. (March 12-14, 2010. )At Ironstone Winery in California's Gold Country This upcoming year, (2010) will be a special year for the Daffodil show...It will actually be a National Daffodil Show which is part of the Annual Convention of the American Daffodil Society. This California event will host concurrently both the national and international daffodil conventions. Daffodil enthusiasts from across the USA plus Australia, Canada, Chile, England, Holland, Japan, New Zealand, and Northern Ireland will be on hand for the special event. More details are on the Daffodil Society Website, but the excitement around this event is pretty intense. A note of interest, The focus of the show will be miniature daffodils. This show is expected to bring together more miniature daffodils than have ever been displayed in one location. It will be this expertise and focus that will inspire and educate the daffodil enthusiasts who visit from elsewhere across the globe. Mark your calendars to attend this special event! |
